Cardio training is one of the most important elements in terms of life expectancy for aging populations. This course is for personal trainers and group fitness instructors to learn the importance of developing training programs geared specifically towards these populations. Too often, trainers use the same programs on older clients that they do with younger ones and this can result in injuries that impede training or in some extreme cases even death. In this course, we will go over the basics of cardio as they relate to seniors and give a toolkit to the attendee that will enable them to develop an effective cardio training program that is safe, effective and scalable with time and increased ability.
